I was born and raised in Chichester and educated at Chichester High School for Boys. Following my A-Levels, I gained a 2:1 in BEd(sc) Education and Mathematics joint Honours from Exeter University. Having graduated, I started my teaching career at King Alfred's Sports and Community College in Wantage, Oxfordshire.
Following spells as Head of Year and Head of Mathematics, I moved to Manhood Community College as Head of Mathematics in 2006. Having been promoted to Assistant Headteacher (Responsible for Achievement) and Deputy Headteacher (leading on Teaching and Learning), I took up the post of Head of School in January 2016 at The Academy, Selsey. I have been very proud to be the Headteacher at the Academy and am delighted with the developments made in my time there. I have been committed to educational excellence at the Academy as well as ensuring that the school is at the heart of the community.
I am delighted to be able to bring my experience to the leadership of Bridgemary School. I will be working closely with the community to build on the provision that is already in place for young people.
