Mr Jason Kynes

I am a proud Northerner and grew up in Appleby-in-Westmorland studying for my GCSEs at Appleby Grammar School before going to study A Levels at St David's College in North Wales. I moved down to London to read BSc Biology (Hons) at Royal Holloway University and later my PGCE at Kingston University.

I love all things about Science and the Natural World (and Sci-Fi) and have been teaching for over 20 years. In that time I have been Head of Science, Director of Science and Assistant Head Teacher gaining my National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership in 2019 (NPQSL). I joined Bridgemary in September 2024 as Assistant Head for Attendance and Access to Education and am passionate that every child has the opportunity to be the best version of themselves.
